Like when I was a child
looking at the ceilings
upside down,
I still invert what’s above
to challenge the limits
of ground and touch.
Now I’m venturing
beyond the sky,
following the path
of clouds…
I wonder if I’ve always been searching
for a way
out.

You’ve brought back some childhood memories of looking at our stucco ceiling searching it for new faces and figures to take me away. I do the same with clouds.

I suggest you’ve always been searching for a way in, and you find it from time to time, that bliss, which of course fades, and we keep searching.
