Spring to me,
the remedy
for the
hangover
of winter’s
tenebrosity.
Spring breeze,
soul cleaning,
wisks away
the dust from
despondency.
Spring fling,
sing to me,
songs upbeat
wake from hibernation
dancing feet.
Spring to me,
hospitality,
coming in through
the window screens;
Welcome, Spring!
Open your doors,
open your hearts,
open yourself to
the possibilities
that spring brings.

I came outside for morning coffee and am still here. Even re-brewed more coffee. #PatioPajamaDay 🙂 I thought I’d switch to grading papers by now, but Spring and poetry are too distracting.

Loved it, and I can’t wait for the spring to finally come this time – too much of snow and way too cold 😊

Poor, unpopular Winter… I think I’ll write a poem about that… 🙂
